I am a single mother with an daughter who turns 3 in March. I am in desperate need for help to get her something for Christmas. I thought I'd be able to get her something but we've been staying in a motel trying to find an apartment and i just barely was able to pay for the hotel room for this week. The hotel manager was nice enough to let me pay him $75 less then what it would be for a week. hello, I am a mother of a child who is 5 and soon of a baby boy whos on the way. Since the month of Dec started i have been feeling stresed out beause i finish school and because of chritmas. This year has become one of the sadest becasue economically i hvae not been doing good. I have no christmas tree nor any gifts because the only one working is my husband who makes very little income. I am so sad becasue my daughter is not going to receive any gifts this year from us. I dont even think my child who is also going to be born this month is going to have everything that is necessary. I feel so sad my husband struggles day by day to at least give us something to eat. I am praying my virgen marry to help me at least to give her anything little but significant to her. I would be glad only to have a smile in her face and glad to have my child in my arms he would be our best present. I am a single mom with a 14 year old daughter looking for some holiday assistance this year. We are in a desperate situation we live on almost no income a month and I get no child support. I was laid off and am having a really hard time finding a new job. I apply for jobs and programs every day. There are so many people applying and people in need I fall to the bottom of the list often. I am trying to be patient & wait . I was so depressed at that time i quit my job and moved from oregon to sacramento my home town. My kids and i were sleeping in my car for a lil over a mnth til i got homeless assistance finally we got an apt and the rent was raised so i couldnt afford it we ended up getting an eviction and that was in sept of 2011 so we did sleep outside to avoid losing all our things but we had no help so we ended up losing 90% of what we had, we resided with my auncle 2mnths now we currently rent a room from my parents which is very convienent with their school because we have no vehicle. Our living situation is not good at all because me and my mother do NOT get along, she favors my oldest son an allowes him to do what he wants he bullies his bro an sis along with kids at his school which is becoming an major issue, i try correcting him but my mother goes against me, and believes my son over me or the school, she gets violent an even hits me so, i dnt know what more i can do but move away which i cant afford so i try to avoid all drama and stay in my room i only leave to cook clean eat or bathroom but my kids like to run around i cant take this anymore and i cant raise my kids here and its not any one of my kids fault, kids will be kids and mine are very confused. please say u can help make our x-mas better with anything or refer me to someone who can! thank you &amp;amp; god bless you. happy holidays...........

I am disabled and just found out that my paperwork for medicare wasn't filed properly and now Social Security will be taking out 300$ off my next month's check in Jan. I went down to fix the problem a week ago and they told me it would take 45 days to fix. So the next two months Jan and Feb I will be shorted money off my check, of 718$ which I get monthly, that will cause me to not be able to afford my apartment and will get kicked out on the streets. I cannot live off 300$ these next two months. I cannot believe this is happening right around Christmas and have no one to ask for help. I am all alone and scared. I am 46yrs old and worked all my life till I had a bad inccident 8yrs ago and was shot by my husband. I have been dealing with doctor's all these years and still am unable to work due to a broken back from the bullet hitting my spine. If you need any proof of my income or anything else like my Social Security award letter I can provide. Please if you can find it in your heart I will greatly appreciate any help. I have never ever been in this situation I have always worked well I had to break down and ask for foodstamps for the first time in my life and I am 42 that was horriable!! I dont know where to turn my kids said they are not worried about christmas but I am how can you let them wake up dec 25 with nothing under the tree? The boys r more worried about losing our house because I am behind on rent by 424.00. My im a single mother of two beautiful girls. Pierra is 11 and Rolana is 2. Im on a fixed income and im not on any type of government housing..my entire check goes straight to rent and bills. Therefore each month after I pay my rent I struggle for simple things such as
Laundry detergent, torlet paper and bus fair to get around. Hi, I am a 27year old single mother of one, he is ten years old, and is one great kid. I've never had to ask for help for Christmas before and was shocked to find that most places require an application before December, most ask that it be in late October! I have been praying that I will be able to make my sons Christmas special. Like I saidi have never had this problem and I must say he is usually pretty pleased at Christmas, he is a very special kid, and I love to see him smile! I recently went through a devorce and he has been through a lot already. I would be greatfull l for n e help at all, I know its pretty late in the month and times are hard for everyone.
